Misting Systems
These are spray water cooling systems utilizing a high pressure pump, providing high pressure water and ensuring the tiny mist of 0.01mm diameter, sprayed out from the nozzle, can float on air streams - thus providing 99% evaporation levels.
These systems can cool areas as much as 5-12°C in Australia*.
Cooling applications
This product has potentional for application where outdoor cooling is required, such as:
- restaurants
- workshop areas
- shearing sheds
- outdoor entertaining areas
- amusement parks
- outdoor and indoor markets
Single portable systems have a 100L containment capacity and can be moved to cool different locations as required.
In fixed systems the requirement for a cooling tank is eliminated as the unit can be hooked directly to the scheme water supply - this eliminates the requirement for floor space as they can then be wall mounted.
Insect Control applications
Some companies have been able to use water soluble natural insecticides to kill mosquitoes and other flying bugs via these misting systems - these claims are still being investigated by Benson.
Technical Information
They operate extremely efficiently and are flexible in their application. Benson Airconditioning can create a permantly situated, combined system driving up to 4 fan heads off one pump; therefore providing a complete cooling solution for your workshop, hall, warehouse or open-air space.
